Environmental Job Training Program
WVU Safety & Health Extension
& the Northern WV Brownfields Assistance Center team up with
EPA to help train northern WV students for placement in environmental
technician jobs.
Who?
Students are being recruited primarily from northern West Virginia
communities impacted by brownfields.We are looking for trainees
interested in starting,advancing or transitioning to a career in
environmental work.
When? Fall Classes to be held from Nov 12 - Dec 7

Environmental/Technical/Field Services:
- 40-Hour OSHA Field Technicians
- Air Quality Specialists
- Soil Technicians/Testers
- Air Sampling/Monitoring Personnel
- Demolition Assistants
- Drillers/Driller Helpers
- General Laborers (Haz/Non-Haz)
- Heavy Equipment Operators (Haz/Non-Haz)
- Inspection Personnel
- Remediation Clean-Up

Our Opportunities Fair is currently scheduled for
March 30th at 2:00 pm at the WVU Safety & Health Training Center
