WV Department of Environmental Protection (WV DEP)
The WV DEP is the state agency charged with managing the remediation of lands that are affected by environmental
contamination under the Division of Land Restoration. The WV DEP Office of Environmental
Remediation oversees the State’s voluntary Remediation Program, assisting property owners in identifying and
addressing potential contamination of brownfield property.
